I weighed in a day early this week cause I had the doctors this morning. I lost 1.6lbs in the last 6 days bringing my total to 23.9lbs lost so far.
I have FINALLY broken the 220lb mark – my nemesis that’s been bugging me for a while now! I’m pretty pleased with myself! Here’s hoping I can kick start the loss to it’s former speed, it’s been a little sluggish lately, (although a loss of 7 inches says otherwise!).
The Doc was thrilled with my progress, she asked me that the issues I initially went in to see her about (irregular cycle/cysts and all that girl trouble stuff) that I totally forgotten about in my ‘I’m finally losing weight’ excitement. Once I gave it some thought, those issues have definitely started to ‘right’ themselves since I started losing weight with her. I’m feeling generally healthier, happier and a lot better in myself. I know my friend Izzy tells me that she sees a ‘glow’ in a lot of my recent pictures that has been absent for the last few years, I guess it’s cause my hope has returned. Hope that I’ll be able to shift this lard once and for all.
I told Col yesterday that I HATE seeing my graduation pictures up on our wall, the only reason they’re up is cause they are great pics of my our family and I like nothing more than having them on the walls! LOL! He said that they should make me feel proud to see how far I’ve come, maybe I’ll get to that point some time but for now I want to sharpie me out of them! LOL!
On the other hand, progress is being made on all fronts I guess 🙂 I’m just hoping it continues, I have goals to hit and a wedding dress to rock in 10 1/2 weeks time! EEEEEK!
Alrighty, looking forward, 2 Stone (or 28lbs), is my next ‘smaller’ target, 4.1 lbs to get there, my next monthly weigh in is September 9th and I’m really hoping I hit the 28lb mark by then!
I NEED to get back in the pool soon before I’ve not gone for so long that I just don’t go back (BAD LAS!), dancing is helping and I know Col is looking in to a ‘West Coast Swing’ class that a guy in the Sugar Land Schlumberger campus runs, which, looking on youtube, might be a little much for us, but we’ll give it a whirl (double eeek!).
