Today was a busy day for the McMasters, we were invited to the 1st birthday party of our friends little twins, which started at noon, and a few days ago, we got another invite for today, to go to our friend’s (and the President of the choir we sing in) birthday lunch.

Since we already had the twins party, we turned up for an hour, hung out with some of our musical friends and slipped out just as they were all sitting down for lunch – which was a shame, because I’ve heard RAVE reviews about the restaurant and have since discovered that it’s one of the top restaurants in Houston! It’s on my hit-list of places to go to very soon (possibly a birthday dinner?!)

It was nice to be able to chill out, outside (in December!!!) with our fellow musically minded peeps and enjoy the slightly clammy, warm breeze.

From here, we went – well, nowhere, our car didn’t start once we picked it up from the Valet.  GRRRRRR!

After a short time-out, she started and we were finally on our way to Katy for the twins birthday party.

I forgot to get someone to take a picture of Col and I (darn!), but there was yummy food, a delicious cake and some of our closest friends in Houston all under one roof – what else could we have asked for?!
